Campaign Statement
Hi I’m Marc Pettie, a long-time resident with a passion for our community and the lifestyle we have. I’m committed to a vibrant, interesting Waikanae and to sound investment in community amenities.
I want to ensure we have a good strategic plan for the challenges ahead (roading and growth being two of them) so we all gain from the changes.
It’s vital your board is motivated, active and reflects the diversity of our community. I’m 51 and work locally. My background in banking and marketing management will bring valuable business skills to the role and I’m very experienced in working collaboratively to achieve results.
Importantly, I’m completely independent and as this is the only position I’m standing for I’ll be able to focus clearly and impartially on Waikanae’s interests. I care deeply about the future here and have the energy, ideas and commitment to make real differences.
