Campaign statement
I have been a member of the Paekākāariki Community Board for the past triennium. I look forward to continue to work to protect our wonderful village lifestyle and advocate our needs to council. For the past three years we have worked together as a team and come to a consensus over issues. This has allowed the board to achieve a number of goals for the community, including the Campbell Park upgrade and skate facility. We have many young people in Paekākāariki approaching their teens, and I look forward to being part of a board which supports them as they grow into young adults, providing facilities and activities. Our intersection remains an urgent problem, and we need to work to find a solution as soon as possible. As a musician, I look forward to continuing supporting our rich artistic community.
