Police say they can confirm a person has died following a water related incident off Raumati Beach, Kāpiti Thursday evening.
Police say Emergency services responded at around 6.10pm. Police are not revealing any other details at this stage.
“Our thoughts are with their family,” says a Police spokesperson.
The death has been referred to the Coroner.
