Nau mai haere mai, on Wednesday 3rd of May, Electra Business Breakfast will be welcoming Hon Ginny Andersen, MP for Hutt South. The focus of Ginny’s talk will be on the importance of small business in our economy and keeping the digital highway open to the global economy. Portfolios have seen significant challenges since Covid hit in 2020. Financial packages were needed for businesses to continue operating during unprecedented times, and these packages continue with the fight against climate change. Mental health and wellbeing, along with digital tools for small business has been a priority to make sure small business can remain competitive in the global economy. Ginny will also comment on the New Zealand UFB roll-out and how this is being used by small business owners to connect more effectively to the world.
