As we watch the world struggling to cope with Covid 19 we should be thankful it was handled well here.
Not that long ago we were stuck indoors and made tentative trips to the supermarket and feared for our community.
Many people were critical of the government and demanded we all return to normal despite the obvious dangers.
We have just had 100 days with no community transmission and the world leaders are praising Jacinda Ardern. Why is it that the only place she gets criticism is here in New Zealand which she has made one of the safest countries on the planet.
