NZLP Waikanae Branch is sponsoring a Public Meeting to hear and engage with candidates standing for KCDC Mayor and District-wide Council positions.
The meeting has been designed to provide an opportunity for NZLP members and the wider public – ie KCDC residents and ratepayers – to come along to hear from those who are contesting the seats for Mayor and District-wide councillors.
The meeting has been purposely scheduled for a Sunday afternoon, after voting has begun, both to enable those who have been unable to attend the daytime meetings to hear the candidates, and to inform, remind and encourage people to vote.
All candidates will be invited to answer (time-controlled) three previously-circulated questions, prepared by branch representatives. Questions will then be opened from the floor. Meeting details are:
