There is a great opportunity to make valuable connections when Kāpiti employers and students get together for a speed dating style event.
If you are a student currently studying at Paraparaumu College and looking to make some valuable connections with local employers, whilst practicing your interview skills then this is the event for you.
The Work Ready Kāpiti #EmployerMeet events bring together a host of local employers, representing a variety of industries that local students have expressed an interest in. During the evening you will have the opportunity to meet with three employers – two from industries of your choosing and one ‘wild card’ employer.
The meetings will be like mini interviews, a chance for you to demonstrate your skills and abilities, whilst forging a useful connection with an employer from within your chosen industry. You can also discuss your CV, how you present at interview and get local employers top tips on getting employment.
This is a great opportunity to ensure you are “work ready”, or find out how you can secure future work. All you need to do is register for the event via this listing (see link below) and then your Careers Advisor will be in contact with your selected employers based on your references.
