A person has received critical injuries and a helicopter is responding after a crash on Paekākāariki Hill Rd in Pauatahanui.
A man has been flown to hospital with critical injuries after a crash on Paekākāariki Hill Rd in Pauatahanui.
Police were called to the crash, between a car and a motorcycle, on Paekākāariki Hill Rd about 8.20pm.
A police spokesperson said the crash happened on the Paekākāariki side of the hill, and the motorcyclist was pinned under the car “for a time”.
He was flown to Wellington Hospital in a critical condition.
The road is being closed in both directions and the Serious Crash Unit will be investigating.
