At the recent Wellington Petanque Association’s annual general meeting, two Kāpiti residents were granted life membership.
This is an honour for both long standing Kāpiti Petanque members, Gwen Hill, a past President, and Jack Gazzard, who is a much sought after qualified umpire. The two have contributed greatly to the game over the years and to the local club and this has been recognised.
