The Kāpiti Cardiac Club temporarily had more funds in the coffers than was needed in the close future so a decision was made to donate sufficient money to allow KCDC to place a seat for the use of the pubic in the Waimanu Lagoon area of Waikanae Beach. The sum involved nowadays is well north of $1000 but it was felt that the people of Kāpiti may as well benefit as well as our own members who walk in this area frequently. It is already well used & we hope will provide comfort for many years to come.
