Another successful community event was held last week with Kāpiti Basketball Association’s Hoop Club Kāpiti Father’s Day Games.
On Father’s Day Hoop Club Kāpiti held their annual “Kids vs Dads” games at Hoop Club.
It’s always a great day and something the kids really look forward to.
The players love the idea of playing against the Dads and showing them what they have learned at Hoop Club and of course they all try really hard to beat the Dads.
The games were held for the 5 to 8 year olds in the 9.30 to 10.30am session and the 9 to 13 year old in the 10.30 to 11.30am session and the 13 to 17 year olds in 11.30 to 12.30 session.
The games are all fun but do get quite competitive with both the Kids and the Dads all wanting to win.
Hoop Club also holds their Kids vs Mums games on Mother’s Day as well.
