Despite the ordinary weather the Waikanae Bowling Club was the place to be on the weekend with bowlers taking advantage of the superb new greens.
The club is currently in the process of competing for Championship titles and this weekend saw action in the Women’s Junior Singles and the Qualifying rounds of the Men’s Fours.
In the Mens Qualifying 4’s Champs 7 teams have three wins to qualify so far with one round remaining and a possible eight to qualify for section play next weekend.
