Storage – it will be tough keeping up with the Jones’s

Kerry Jones of Surelock Storage says Kāpiti is on a positive growth path and he has unveiled major plans for expansion.

“We opened in January 2008 with 103 units and we are nearly always full. There is a growing market for quality storage in Kāpiti and to meet the current demand and expected future demand we are building rapidly.”

Mr Jones says there are currently another 90 units under construction which will be completed by January.
“We have got people ready to go right now. Paraparaumu hasn’t had a facility like this and we expect it will be very popular.”

He says the main usage is for housing storage although many businesses in Kāpiti also use the units for stock storage.

With 7500sqm available the plan is to continue with expansion plans.
“We will have up to 700 units over the next three to four years and we are confident for the future,” says Mr Jones.
“Our main clients are household lots and periods of a year or more are quite common. If people go overseas they like to know their property is safe and secure. We provide strictly storage here and our security is very good.”
