Family descendents sought for reunion

A family reunion for descendents of Robert Jillett, a whaler who lived on Kāpiti Island in the late 1830s, is being held in Porirua on the 8th and 9th of January, 2011.
Robert Jillett married Te Tara the daughter of Enaia Te Morere (Ngati Raukawa). Robert Jillett and Te Tara had six children. Their names were James, Charlotte, John, Susan and William and Robert.
James died in 1859 and the other five children married. John lived in Ōtaki and Foxton, Charlotte and William lived in Titahi Bay, Susan lived in Inglewood and Robert lived in Ōtaki.
Any person with the surname: Jillett, Whitehouse, Windley, Rothery, Bennett, Beere, Rickus, Spiers, Ogilvie, Hislop, Moore, Thurston, Richards, Short, Vine, Arres or Bell in their family tree may be related to Robert Jillett and, as such, are welcome to attend the up coming family reunion.
