Paraparaumu Bankers muck in for Shed Project

Staff from ANZ Paraparaumu spent their afternoon helping local community organisation The Shed Project spruce up the entrance way to their Tongariro street premises.
The ANZ team spent the afternoon weeding, water blasting, painting, hammering and generally just ‘mucking in’ to make a noticeable improvement to the entrance of The Shed Project premises. The improved entranceway is now more visually appealing with its ANZAC inspired poppies, is welcoming to customers and provides a more enjoyable area for members to spend time in.
Hope Henderson organised a team of volunteers from ANZ who wanted to give back to their community and help a local organisation. With the coordination assistance of Volunteer Kāpiti, they were connected with The Shed Project.
The Shed Project Manager Denis Wood, was grateful for the additional help and is very pleased with the improvement it has made to the front entrance. “It’s great to have help like this from the community. Everyone got stuck in, had fun and the ANZ team have done a great job. For community Organisations like us with limited funds, volunteering projects like this make all the difference”.
