The Web Genius Kāpiti Run for Youth sign up is open for the event taking place on Sunday 29th March 2026 to raise funds and fitness for Kāpiti’s rangatahi.
Over the years this event has raised more than $280,003 for the youth of Kāpiti since inception in 2011. Organiser Helene Judge says ‘last year we raised an amazing $25,531 that was distributed to our Fundraising Partners to continue doing good. We know events like ours genuinely helps to support amazing work done in our community, so we are motivated to continue our mahi to help others, to help young people to be amazing in Kāpiti.
“In 2026 we will continue to use the Raisely platform designed specifically for community fundraising. Our experience on this platform last year was, seamless and an easy sign-up and donation process.”
Sign up as an individual or get a team together to walk or run from Paraparaumu Beach Maclean Park to Raumati Beach and back.
“We are a family friendly event, so all humans, baby buggies and crowd friendly dogs on leads are welcome. We are also the perfect event to help you, or your sports team to train for your upcoming season or another event later in the year.
“There are sponsored prizes, certificates and treats for everyone participating. All registrations and sponsorship are handled securely and confidentially on our website. We encourage everyone participating to achieve sponsorship of at least $20 – but don’t stop there, because the more we raise, the more benefit and love we can spread in our community – don’t be shy to ask your friends, workmates and your whānau to support your efforts to make raise as much money as you can for your chosen Fundraising Partner.

Time: Registration 8:30 am to 9:45 am. Race start:10 am after a briefing.
