Police say they can now name the man who died in a fatal crash on State Highway 3 near Sanson on 18 September.
He was 34-year-old Brook Paul Morgan, from Marton.
“Police offer our sympathies to his family and friends during this difficult time.”
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash remain ongoing.
Emergency services had been called to the scene, near the Mount Stewart Halcombe Rd intersection on 18 September where police said the sole person in the ute died at the scene. Another person received minor injuries.
