Tony Reed is the genial host of Kāpiti G.A.Y., Coast Access Radio’s programme for gay people and their friends on the Kāpiti/Horowhenua Coast and beyond.

Tony took over the show from his friend Steve Green in early 2011. Steve set up Kāpiti G.A.Y. and ran it for a couple of years before handing over to Tony, who has hosted it since.

Tony says he came to New Zealand from Britain in 1998, and settled in the Wellington region, as he knew  he would.

“My main interests are history, politics, film and drama and classical music. So you will be hearing something about these topics on the programme. But it IS your programme, so please tell me what else you would like to hear about.”

The latest episode covers the fascinating year of 2023, highlights and lowlights and then highlights again. A great show and well worth tuning in.
