The potential impact of COVID-19 is creating high levels of uncertainty here and abroad. It has become clear that now is the time to prepare for what may come whatever that may be.
With this in mind, we want to support local businesses and organisations to consider a range of possible impacts, and to build individual and collective readiness for what may unfold. It is important to stress that this is not about either over or underestimating the impact the virus might or might not have, but rather, to help you and your people prepare for whatever it is that eventuates.
The Horowhenua New Zealand Trust are inviting key decision makers in Horowhenua businesses and organisations to come together to start this work.
We want to facilitate a practical workshop, whereby you can apply yourselves to various scenarios, their practical impacts, and to work together to devise responses and flag critical areas for your organisations. Given that we’re all in this together, we would like to share and discuss everyone’s responses, so that we can all leave the workshop with a better understanding of what needs to be done to help our organisations (and people) be as prepared as they can.
We do have limited workshop capacity, so please limit involvement to yourselves, or one or two key people in your organisation.

The details for the workshop are as follows:
Time: 3pm 5.30pm Thursday 12 March
Venue: Rimu and Totara Rooms, Te Takeretanga o Kura-hau-pō, Levin
Cost: No charge

Please note that the Electra BA5 event will follow-on from the workshop at 5.30pm in the Main Space.
