Local Scene 2020 is a great chance to see Kāpiti bands live.
Local Musican AJ Crawshaw is on the hunt for some music acts with a connection to Kāpiti for the first Local Scene of 2020 to be held on the 21st of March.
Mr Crawshaw says applications need to be in by the 16th of February. “We’re holding this one at Tuatara Brewery. Semi-Outside gig from 2pm til late.
He says whatever tickets the bands sell they can keep the money from plus a split of the door.
“Our last gig there sold over 400 tickets and was a blast. Can’t wait to see what happens this time.”
Mr Crawshaw says he is considering originals bands and covers bands from people who have a local connection from Pukerua Bay to Ōtaki.
