Police are attending a serious crash on State Highway 1 in Ohau, south of Levin.
The crash occurred at 4:50pm and involved two vehicles.
One person has been critically injured and another three people are seriously injured.
Police advise the road is currently blocked and motorists are asked to avoid the area.
