Kāpiti Rotary supporting Local Youth

Back by popular demand is the Rotary Club of Kāpiti’s annual Trailer Raffle fundraiser with proceeds going to support Kāpiti Youth Services and Life Education Trust and enabling students to attend inspirational events like Science Forum and Business Week.

Funds raised also support young people attending Rotary youth programs Rotary Youth Programme of Enrichment (RYPEN) and Rotary Young-Person Leadership Awards RYLA.
Organiser Murray Lobb says the Rotary trailer raffle has been very well supported over the years and so far over $55,000 has been raised for youth in Kāpiti.
“The trailer raffle raises between $7500 and $8000 each year and we are grateful for the support of the public and from sponsors like Mitre 10 Mega, Avanti Plus, Noel Leeming, Coastlands, Pak n Save, New World, The Warehouse and the Saturday Market.”
Mr Lobb says the public can purchase tickets at Mitre 10 Mega on Kāpiti Rd over the counter during the week and also at Kāpiti Hire.
“We are also at the Saturday Market at Paraparaumu Beach,” he says.
