Reports are coming in of a serious car crash in Peka Peka where is appears a speeding car has rolled and caught fire.
Witnesses say the accident threw the two people out of the car.
High speed is thought to have caused the crash and emergency vehicles are in attendance at the scene which is just south of Ōtaki, near Te Hapua Road.
The road is currently blocked both ways.
