The Kāpiti WEA has announced its spring programme.

July 29th Bryan Wells talks on the Battle of Waterloo at the Kāpiti Community Centre, 15 Ngahina St, Paraparaumu, from 1.30 pm – 4 pm. Coast $30 ($20 for members)

August Programme

5 August Eastern Philosophy: Freedom presented by Prof Jay Shaw, 10 am – 3 pm, Presbyterian Church Hall, Waikanae $40 (members $30)

12 August Modern Iran presented by Hamish McGragor 10 am – 3 pm, Kāpiti Community Centre, $50 ($40 members)

26 August A Bloody Road Home – NZ in WWII presented by Chris Pugsley at Kāpiti Community 10 am – 4 pm, $50 ($40 members)

Andrew Laing from The Lions Club of Kāpiti

The next meeting of The Lions Club of Kāpiti is to be held on Tuesday 18 July at the Ocean Road Community Centre (Formerly The Senior Citizens Hall) in Ocean Road.

We will be having a meal ($22.00 per head) and listening to a guest speaker. Our Guest Speakers are Sandra Roxburgh & Steve Humphries from Hebe Botanicals Ōtaki.

We meet at 6.00pm for a 6.30pm meal and we finish at about 8.30pm.
