Wellington Free Ambulance service which covers the Kāpiti Coast has appointed a new Chief Executive.
Free Ambulance Board Chair Ross Martin says he is delighted to announce the appointment of Mike Grant to the role of CE for Wellington Free Ambulance.
“Mike has worked in the health sector for many years, most of which has been with District Health Boards where he has worked across corporate, hospital, funding and planning areas,” Ross Martin says.
Currently Mike is the General Manager, Clinical Services and Transformation at MidCentral DHB. His passion is integrating services across all parts of the health sector. He takes a patient-centred approach, looking at how the patient can receive the care they need, at the right time, in the right place and by the right people.
“I am looking forward to joining Wellington Free Ambulance. I know how critical a sustainable ambulance service is and I am excited about being part of a service that is so well respected in the Wellington and Wairarapa region,” Mike Grant says.
Mr Grant takes up the position of CE from Diana Crossan, with a start date of 29 May 2017.no
