Mulled Wine Concert

Singer/Songwriter Wayne Mason, renowned for his song “Nature” (voted the best song of the last 75 years by APRA) joins Andrew London and his trio in a knockout OPENER to the 2014 Mulled Wine Concert Series. Save the date for Saturday February 1, 2014 (bar opens at 7pm for 7.30pm start).
Mason was a founder member of iconic Kiwi bands The Fourmyula and went on to form Rockinghorse and the Warratahs.
Former members of Hot Club Sandwich, Guitarist Andrew London and saxophonist Nils Olsen will join Kirsten London on bass. The trio has been traveling extensively around New Zealand over the last 12 months performing festival gigs in Christchurch, Rotorua, Auckland and Nelson and has received critical acclaim for its debut album ‘The Middle Class White Boy Blues’.
This is a jazz, swing, country and blues combo with a strong element of comedy and satire in a great summer venue at Paekākāariki’s beachfront Memorial Hall.
