Home is where the heart is and sighting Kāpiti Island when returning from travelling has always signalled to me I was home. I worked in the meat industry during the eighties and the last two decades in technical sales in the Telecommunications industry. This background
has given me a strong understanding of commerce and enabled me to
become a skilled negotiator.
There have been too many contentious issues over the last three years for it all to be a coincidence. Yes, processes must be followed but I say, considered, sensible and not rushed. This is my primary driver for standing for Paraparaumu Ward Councillor. Restricting spending to ‘must do and haves’ is critical and to that end expect me to ask the ‘what if’ and ‘why’questions.
