Amalgamation of Kāpiti Business Groups announced

Kāpiti Coast Business Network chair Des Morgan has announced a merger of the KCBN with the Kāpiti Coast Chamber of Commerce.
“This merger benefits both parties and we are united in our goal of promoting and supporting local business in our community,” says Mr Morgan.
“Other than the benefit of having the Kāpiti Coast Chamber of Commerce supporting us going forward nothing else changes as members. We will still be known as the Kāpiti Coast Business Network (in association with the Kāpiti Chamber Of Commerce) and our core values remain.”

Mr Morgan says the core values are:

No Membership fee (No Cost)
Informal Surroundings (share ideas and learn a little about each others business over a glass of wine or lemonade)
Non Exclusive (Not just one business per profession, everyone is welcome!)
There is also no requirement for you to join the Chamber of Commerce if you don’t wish to.

Mr Morgan also announced a new venue for the next meeting.

“Our next meeting is scheduled for Monday 5th August 2013 between 5.15 and 7.00pm and we will meet at the Kāpiti Club, 32 Marine Parade, Paraparaumu Beach. There is no cost other than what you spend at the Bar.”
