A hardy group of around 30 small local businesses braved the cold and blustery conditions to attend the inaugural meeting of the Kāpiti Coast Business Network at the Paraparaumu Beach Golf Club on Monday night (May 6).
Members mixed and mingled over a drink in a friendly and informal environment.

It went very well for a first-time event, there was a good turnout of men and women on a miserable wet night and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly.
The format worked well people mixed and mingled well with no prompting, having the to hour to network prior to Anne-Marie’s talk was good as it gave everyone a chance to arrive, get settled / grab a drink and have a chat with someone.
I personally made two new solid contacts and was able to refer two of my contacts to them.
