Planting helpers welcome at Queen Elizabeth Park

It is the first planting day of the year for Queen Elizabeth Park this Sunday 5th May! Meeting place will be at the Rangers Office at 9:30am on Sunday.

It would be great to get as many people as we can as there are 600 plants to get in the ground which are being taken to the site today.

Simon Griffin will be there on the day to co-ordinate so if you would like any more information please let him know.

Also there will be a Corporate Restoration Day on Thursday 9th May from 10am. We will be meeting at the Raumati South entrance at 10am and planting 600 plants at the northern burn site. Then returning to the nursery for lunch and putting protectors on the plants that are planted this weekend as well as doing some releasing.

It would be great to have anyone along that is free.
