Organiser Dave Edwards said the Rotary Club of Kāpiti’s Annual Foodbank Appeal was again highly successful.
“We are very grateful to all those who helped with Saturday’s successful collection.
“The people of Kāpiti have again been very generous. The total number of boxes collected was 177, a 36 percent increase on last year. The Foodbank is full again thanks to your combined efforts,” said Mr Edwards.
The amount of cash donated was also well up on last year. “In total we collected $1900 which is a 38 percent increase on last year. All in all it was another very successful appeal. Congratulations Kāpiti,” said Mr Edwards.
