Emma Broughton and Grace Brabham made the most of perfect weekend weather to tempt passing motorists with Girl Guide Biscuits.
Emma is a Ranger – next level up from Guides, and Grace is a Pippin – pre Brownies for the 5s and 6s.
They were selling cookies with Grace’s mum Catherine Brabham while young Jack Brabham (not the race driving legend) was no doubt on hand if any sampling was needed.
The group set up a tent on Te Moana Rd, Waikanae and said they had received a very enthusiastic response.
