Business training gets boost in Kāpiti

Nature Coast Enterprise Business Development Managers have been working closely with a number of businesses in the community who have highlighted the need for some specific training, especially in the run-up to the Rugby World Cup as well as the large increase in local business activity (Road, Business attraction /Airport /Cleantech etc) that is set to come on-stream shortly.

“We have entered into an agreement with New Zealand Trade and Enterprise which means we have around $100,000 worth of grants available to Kāpiti and Horowhenua businesses towards training each year,” says Chief Executive Chris Barber.
“This month, we are focussing on Communication and Marketing, and have Andrew Laing, Tom Reidy and Warwick McCormack presenting three training opportunities at our Lindale office.
“We will only allow a maximum of 15 participants on each course to ensure that each participant can engage appropriately,” says Mr Barber.
