Waikanae Brownies were lucky to visit Coast Access Radio 104.7 fm to record some jingles they had written themselves to be aired around Girl Guide biscuit selling time. Graeme Joyes the station manager showed the girls around for the evening.
Graeme also showed them how a radio station works, let them record some voices in a studio and then conducted an interview with the Brownie Pack. This interview has been played on a couple of time on Access Radio.
The girls came away very excited at the chance to see how a real radio station works. The look on their faces was priceless said Sharon their Brownie leader when they heard their voices played back.no
