I still have the energy and the vision required, combined with my previous experience as a councillor and a Community Board member, to be able to make an independent effective contribution as a Councillor.
I will work to ensure badly needed upgrading to infrastructure is a priority issue.
I also believe council has an obligation to facilitate growth in the District to ensure that employment opportunities become greater for not only its adult residents but also for the school leavers who appear to be forgotten when it comes to employment.
