Raymond Piper investigation still far from over

Kāpiti Police are continuing their investigation into the disappearance of Kāpiti man Raymond (Son) Piper, missing for almost two months.

Head of the inquiry, Detective Senior Sergeant Mike Oxnam says, “This inquiry is far from over. Our focus remains on locating Raymond’s body so we can return it to his family.”

Meanwhile, two people accused of being a party to grievous bodily harm on Raymond Piper have reappeared in the Porirua District Court.

Susan Bragger, aged 44, of Paraparaumu and Sean Hawke, aged 50, of Tauranga have been granted bail with strict conditions.

They will reappear in the Porirua District Court on 30 August 2010.
