Local radio station Beach FM is on the move. The popular radio crew are upping stakes and heading for the Lindale Complex in July.
Station manager Grant Walker said the move was a very positive step forward for Beach FM.
“We are very much looking forward to being part of the revitalisation of Lindale and we are keen to be part of the Lindale community.
“As a locally owned and operated radio station soon to be celebrating our 12th birthday, we are very involved with the Kāpiti/Horowhenua communities and Lindale is an ideal location for us,” said Mr Walker.
Beach FM has 10 full and part time staff and will be located in what was previously the wood turning shop at Lindale.
“We will be right next to the Kāpiti Ice Cream shop. There is a lot of excitment about the move and plenty to look forward to,” said Mr Walker.
