There was a good turn out to the St Patrick’s day celebrations held at St Patrick’s primary school.

Everybody got into the Irish spirit and most people were dressed to colour co-ordinate, creating a sea of green.

There was an array of Irish treats ranging from Green candy floss and Apple Toffees, to Irish beef stew and Guiness (for the grownups).

The Kildunne school of Irish dancing put on a spectactular show, with the young girls displaying talent in a range of dances.

The day was serviced with classic rainbow weather, a nippy breeze and on again, off again sun showers.

A range of student self portraits were on display, as well as student photography.

The Fire service showed up to educate the youngsters on Fire Safety and Sausage sizzle’s helped to bay growling tummy’s.

All and all it was another very successful event.
