Sensational young footballer Jack Cotter is hitting the world stage. Jack 17 has been selected for the U19 New Zealand team, which will travel to England and Ireland in April to play Five International matches.

The Ambitious young talent has starred in representative teams throughout the age grades, and is excited at making the NZ U19’s, “It is really cool to know that I am representing my country.”

With the success of the Phoenix, Wellington Football is on a high, “The Phoenix have come along way an it is good to see they can put results together when it counts,” Jack told KCnews.

“It’s a great Achievement for the All Whites to reach the World Cup Finals, it gives younger players something to aspire to,” said Jack. Speaking of aspirations, Jack has set his sights high, with goals of making the New Zealand U20 World Cup team in 2013 and then the New Zealand team for the 2016 Brazil Olympics.

Jack was recently granted $500 from the Paraparaumu-Raumati Community Board, to help contribute to his trip.
