The Gold Coast (NZ) Rock n Roll Club made the most of a great day and a big crowd to display their talents at Gear Jammers Show on the weekend.
The dancers were supported by an excellent local band Now and Then.
Club president Andy Anderton said the crowd response was very encouraging. “The music and the dancing have plenty of energy which people like. We really enjoy it and it’s great to get such positive feedback.”
Mr Anderton said Rock n Roll dancing is still very popular and the club has around 100 members. There are eight clubs in the greater Wellington area and we attend a big dance every couple of months. Our club meets for dancing at the Paraparaumu Memorial Hall every Wednesday at 7.30pm and people are welcome to come along.
