Candidate – Raumati Community Board
“I have been a Kāpiti resident for 35 years, mostly in Raumati where I own property and have raised three children. This enables me to have a genuine understanding of the issues which affect our community.
“I currently work as a Training Advisor/Professional Assessor for the Building and Construction Industry Training Organisation, supporting both employers and learners going through the apprenticeship process. Prior to this, I was a flight instructor in the aviation industry.
“To date, I’ve served five terms on both the former Paraparaumu/Raumati Community Board (including as Chair) and Deputy Chair on the Raumati Community Board, where I’m seeking re-election.
“Our board has provided a platform for many individuals and community groups alike, to voice their concerns and celebrate their achievements.
“Therefore, I would welcome the opportunity to continue to positively advocate on behalf of our wonderful seaside community of Raumati.”
