Candidate Statement – Tim Sutton

Candidate – Raumati Community Board

Tim Sutton, candidate Raumati Community Board

“Raumati Beach is my home, where I happily live with my family and dog.  I currently run a development agency and previously worked in international development with the United Nations for 25 years.

“I’m proud of the achievements of the Raumati Community Board during my first term as a board member, including helping our community to more effectively engage with the CAP process through the meetings we promoted and organised.

“I’m also proud of my contribution to the review of our Community Grants programme, and the introduction of the new Vision Raumati Grants, the first of which are now being implemented.

“Over the next term, I want to make sure that the Raumati Community Board remains a place where everyone feels welcome, feels heard and where we can come together around important issues for our vibrant community and together make Raumati an even better place to live.”

All candidates are offered the opportunity to submit a profile and photo for the position they are standing for.
