“I am active in the local community board and on social media.
“Cutting wasteful spending by Council is a must. Our council has limited income which must be committed to core activities.
“Prudent management of council spending is needed.
“I have managed to play a leading role in advocating for new footpaths, covered bus shelters, new toilets and skatepark at Maclean Park, the renaming of the old state highway and exposing the expensive gold-plated bus shelters.
“We must listen to the community on climate change and coastal hazards. My commitment has always been to making Kāpiti a better place to live with the lowest rates in the country.”
