Candidate – Waikanae Ward

“I am a long-term resident of Waikanae, living on a rural property in the Reikorangi Valley. Anne and I moved here with our children in 2007 and absolutely love the environment here.
“My professional background has been primarily with the Department of Conservation and the New Zealand Defence Force.
“Most lately I have been working with the Kāpiti Coast District Council project managing the construction of the new Ōtaki Reservoir and the new Ōtaki wastewater gravity main. I am currently helping out the Salvation Army as a logistics coordinator.
“Kāpiti is growing, and we need a focus on industry to support and provide jobs to the growing population.
“I like to get things done. I am achievement oriented, looking for positive action and outcomes. I bring drive and commitment, which are needed for Waikanae and Kāpiti, and will be required around the Council table.”
Also candidate for Waikanae Community Board
All candidates are offered the opportunity to submit a profile and photo for the position they are standing for.
