“I am a descendent of Ngāti Toa Rangatira, Te Āti Awa, Ngāti Porou, and Ngāpuhi.
“I am currently the Political Director of Te Pāti Māori.
“Born and raised in Paekākāriki, I come from a strong background of kaupapa driven artists and activists. Being grounded in this whakapapa nurtured my passion for ngā take Māori and a drive for justice that has shaped my career.
“I bring 10 years of direct political experience, advocating for and defending my community from both inside and outside of Parliament. I have shaped laws, influenced national policy, and was instrumental in building the Toitū Te Tiriti movement.
“I fought to establish Māori wards, now I am joining in the fight to retain them.”
