“Lois and I moved to Waikanae 18 months ago, and we love it here.
“I am a keen runner, swimmer and cyclist, so the trails and beaches are perfect for me. Discovering the Waikanae Park Run was a bonus.
After a forty year career as an accountant, I am now semi-retired. I feel I have the time and skills to contribute to the community.
“As well as my professional background, I was a counsellor with Lifeline for many years, so I know how to listen.
“Should I be elected, I will serve the community as best I can. In particular, I will try to represent the views of those who lack the time and resources to advocate for themselves.
“If you want to give me the honour of representing you, please vote No 1 for McCormick. If you have another preference, 2 or 3 are also helpful.”
