Whale Song is set to become a new star attraction for tourists visiting the Kāpiti Coast.
Kāpiti already has a world class car museum at Southwards, a superb nature experience at Nga Manu Nature Reserve and Whale Song will provide a stunning trifecta of attractions to Kāpiti.

Whale Song, as a key component of the surrounding New Central Park development, is heading for resource consent in early September, under the Fast Track legislation. As a part of this, the team has been working out the planned layout of Whale Song, its connection to the adjacent wetland restoration project, car parking and linking to the long-planned adventure playground.
Whale Song organisers are still seeking that strategic “Naming Rights” investor or investors who want to see this vision realised.
Whale Song is expected to create 100’s of new jobs in Kāpiti, increasing business resilience across the district.
The project will be engaging with schools and visitors/tourists, drawing them into our retail, food & beverage sectors, other attractions/galleries/museums, accomodation and wayfinding visitors further through the Wellington region.
The Whale Song team say Whale Song will be the catalyst to sustainable growth across the numerous eco-systems that will surround this huge sculptural installation.
