“It has been a privilege to serve you Kāpiti as the councillor who has been unafraid to challenge council decisions when you tell me it is needed. I am known for it.
“My three years on the Ōtaki Community Board have been the most unified and focused in the boards’ history and I am so proud of our many team achievements. I have advocated to enable community boards across the motu as the Greater Wellington representative on the National Executive Committee.
“There are valid concerns about the sector, fiscal direction, growing debt and costs in the face of future challenges. I am concerned that ultimately ratepayers still foot the bill and rates affordability is still driving out long-time Kāpiti residents. I offer experience and real solutions.
