I am standing for the Kāpiti Māori ward because I am passionate about the people in my community. As a Rongoā practitioner I love helping people and showing them how to heal their tinana and their Whanau with rongoā. A Wairua, A Tinana, A Hinengaro.

I would like to stand for youth and disability community. There is not enough representation in these areas and as someone that’s had heart surgeries and health issues all my life I feel that I can be a voice for our communities.

We need Māori at all decision making tables from local government council tables to Parliament seats. King Charles said Tāngata Whenua know how to look after the land and the people and he is so right. Our government needs to listen to all generations of their people who call Aotearoa New Zealand their home.

Oranga taiao, Oranga tāngata, Oranga taiao.

When the environment is healthy the people are healthy and the people are sustained by the environment.

Nga mihi manākitanga kia koe na Nemo Jordon Marshall Wansbrough
