
Organisers of Kāpiti’s superb new facility under construction, Golf for Good, are raising money and issuing an invitation to join them and a host of Kiwi sports legends and community champions, for a charity dinner and auction to finish the Golf for Good project.
The sports stars include:

Mark Sorenson – NZ Softball GOAT, NZ Sport Hall Of Fame , NZ Black Sox 4 times World Champion, 200 games for NZ, NZ Softball Coach and NZ Captain
Charlie Gubb – Former NZ Warriors, Canberra Raiders, Widnes Vikings Rugby League Player
Brad Shields – Current Hurricanes and Lions Captain, NZ under 20, Former England Rugby Player , Former Wasps Player
Suzie Muirhead – NZ Order Merit, 238 NZ Hockey Test Matches, two Olympic Games, NZ Captain 2004 to 2006 – Retired as the most Capped Women’s Player in history and top goal scorer
Jordan Mills – Wellington Saints GM and Owner, Former Saints Player 10 years, 140 games for Saints NBL, NZ under 20, NZ under 18, University Olympics
Jackson Garden-Bachop – Current Wellington Lions, Moana Pasifika, Former Hurricanes, NZ Maori All Black, NZ Under 20s, Former Melbourne Rebels
James O’Reilly – Current Wellington, Hurricanes, former Bay Of plenty, former NZ Under 20s.
Golf for Good is more than just a game. The course was created as a joint initiative between the Kāpiti Rotary Club and the Combined Lions Clubs of Kāpiti.
Built by the community, for the community, Golf for Good exists to give back. Every dollar of profit will support local charities, youth groups, and projects that help Kāpiti thrive.
